Slightly warmer on Sunday followed by minor day to day differences
through the middle of next week. Through Wednesday, night and

.SHORT TERM (Today through Thursday)...
The warming trend will continue through Wednesday with Wednesday
high temperatures around 10 to 15 degrees above average for the
coast and valleys and around 10 degrees above average for the
lower deserts. High temperatures on Wednesday will range from
the lower to mid 70s near the coast to the 90s for the Inland
Empire with 102 to 107 for the lower deserts. Cooling will begin
to spread inland on Thursday with the coast, valleys, and
mountains a few degrees cooler than Wednesday.

The sounding from NKX from late Monday afternoon showed a pair of
marine inversions, one near 2000 feet and a second, lower
inversion near 1400 feet. Satellite imagery shows patchy low
clouds moving northward just off the coast of Orange and San Diego
Counties. The low clouds and fog may extend locally inland into
coastal areas early this morning. Similar coverage is expected for
late tonight into early Wednesday morning with increasing low
cloud coverage and slight deepening of the marine layer for
Wednesday night into Thursday morning.

mid 90s to around 100 for the lower deserts. The marine layer will
deepen to around 2500 feet for the weekend. Night and morning
coastal low clouds will spread inland into portions of the inland
